The Malawi Police Service has expressed discomfort with a purported video clip by one Ben Longwe calling for Malawians to attack the judicial officers claiming they are not exercising fairness when discharging their duties.
In a statement, National Deputy Police spokesperson Harry Namwaza said the clip Longwe is lobbying Malawians to attack judicial officers, make explosives, set on fire courts and judicial officers houses.
Namwaza condemns the attitude and calls on Malawians to distance themselves from such a heinous act.
Police have since assured all judicial officers of maximum security; adding they are on the ground monitoring the situation.
