Malawians on social media have praised the country’s vice president Saulos Chilima for shifting his national address which was scheduled to take place at 10; 00am to pave way for state function.
Initially, Chilima’s address was planned to take place at 10; 00am but state house released a statement communicating that President Lazarus Chakwera will preside over the swearing in ceremony of supreme judges.
According to comments on Chilima’s Facebook page, Malawians hailed Chilima for showing maturity.
Below are some of the comments…
Litness Chaima; “Aise ndiwe mfana oganizadi bhooooo heavy. You are tactical.”
Prefect Bon Idriss Mwitha; “And we call it leadership of tolerance kumalora ena achite kaye zaozo then u with a bomb.”

Coolshy Bright Mzomah; “The wisdom will kill you Sir. Thank you posawatengera a president athuwa. And you have acted maturely.”
Chilima was mentioned in a report by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) which was submitted to president Chakwera alleging that he is involved in corrupt dealings with British-Malawian businessman Zuneth Sattar.
In reaction to the report, Chakwera crippled delegated powers of Chilima to pave way for investigations.
However, Chilima has vehemently denied the allegation hence a move to address the nation on the same.
