Trouble is blowing in Malawi Congress Party, a party in Tonse Alliance as the party has blocked some disgruntled members of the party led by former Kasungu West Member of Parliament Alex Major from holding the media briefing at regional offices in the capital Lilongwe.

Major was scheduled to react to the claims made by State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and other issues rocking the country.

Inside sources say the party is against Major’s move to hold the briefing at the party’s regional offices because he holds no position in the party.

Speaking in an interview with the press Patrick Zebron Chilondola, Party Regional Chairman said Major cannot hold the presser at the Party’s Regional office since he holds no position in the Party.

But Major insists he will hold his press briefing at the regional office.

Meanwhile, Alex Major has re-scheduled his briefing to Friday this week.
