Zambia’s former head of state Edgar Chagwa Lungu is accusing his successor Hakainde Hichilema of takin over the presidency form him during last year’s general elections.

Lungu made the remarks yesterday in Lusaka in front of Patriotic Front (PF) supporters who visited the couple and give solidarity to former first lady Esther Lungu who is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC).

According to Lungu, Hichilema is a liar and cheated the people of Zambia to vote him into power by making uncalled promises.

Lungu added that instead of working towards developing the country, the other guy is busy prosecuting his family.

He then called on the authorities to stop traumatizing his family and remove his immunity because clearly it is him whom they want.

According to Lungu he is ready to face the law.
