Police in Chitipa are keeping in custody a 38-year-old man identified as Nowel Sinyangwe for allegedly killing a 78-year-old man, Grason Simukoko for unknown reasons.
Chitipa Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Rabson Mkandawire confirmed the development saying the suspect went to the deceased’s house carrying a sharp knife and stabbed him several times.
Sinyangwe will appear before court soon to answer murder charges.
