THE Lusaka High Court has sentenced a Police officer to death by hanging for shooting dead a passenger who was on a truck headed to Southern Province.
Mazuba Mwiinga, 47, an officer based at Shimabala Police Post in Chilanga murdered Hillary Kapyanga on July 20,2020 near the Shimabala Toll Plaza.
“I hereby sentence you to death and you shall hang to the neck until pronounced dead,” said Judge Ruth Chibbabbuka.
