President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has cancelled his trip to Zambia where he was scheduled to attend the Africa Union Summit Meeting for Heads of Regional Economic Communities slatted for July 17, 2022.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to the statement, President Chakwera has directed the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo to represent him at the summit.
Meanwhile, the President is virtually attending the Troika Summit on the SADC Mission in Mozambique.
