Organisers of Lake of Stars Festival have once again cancelled the 2022 festival, faceofmalawi can reveal.
A press statement from the organisers says that the festival has been cancelled this year due to challenges beyond their control.
“We regret to announce that due to reasons beyond our control there will be no Lake Of Stars festival this year. However, we will have exciting news for our plans for 2023 on 31st August, 2022 through our social media and various media platforms.
“We appreciate the continous support rendered on the festival. We apologize any disappointment this has caused. The team are working hard on future event plans – more will be revealed on 31st August,” reads in part the statement.
Last year the festival was also cancelled due to COVID-10 restrictions.
