KENYA – Residents of Kinungi village are still reeling in shock following the mysterious deaths of two brothers.
A row over an alcohol bill left the two brothers dead after one stabbed the other on the chest before turning the knife on himself in a Naivasha village.
The two aged 31 and 29 years old were enjoying drinks together in a local pub when they differed over the bill leading to a quarrel.
The 31-year-older brother identified as Joseph Kagwima in a fit of anger whipped out a knife and stabbed the younger brother Simon Kamau on the chest leaving him bleeding on the floor of the bar.
Bar attendants who heard the commotion took Kamau to a local health facility where he died while receiving treatment.
According to reports, Kagwima fled the scene and rushed to his home where he used the same knife to slit his throat. He rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
