The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has it will investigate Natural Resources Minister Eisenhower Mkaka over the way he acquired his Mercedes Benz in 2020.
This follows the emergence of various theories linking the vehicle to the car that businessman Zunneth Sattar shipped to Malawi in June 2020.
ACB Director General Martha Chizuma has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to the document seen by this publication, the vehicle was shipped into Malawi in August 2020 and Mkaka is said to have paid over Mk30 million for the purchase of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, Mkaka is yet to comment on the matter.
