Malawi’s former Head of State Professor Peter Mutharika who is contemplating on vying for presidency in 2025 has today clocked 82 years.
Mutharika who was born on July 18, 1940, ruled the country for six years and was ousted from power by President Lazarus Chakwera in the fresh president elections.
Mutharika, who accuses Chakwera of robbing him his presidency says he has been approached by different people to consider bouncing back in 2025.
But he said he will let Malawians now of his stand.
On the other hand, Malawians are calling Mutharika to rest as his time to rule the country is over.
