Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) regional governor for the South Charles Mchacha has claimed that he received an apology from former Youth Director for United Transformation Movement (UTM) Bon Kalindo over his support for Tonse Alliance.

Mchacha made the revelation during a media briefing on Sunday held at PAGE house in Mangochi which was graced by former President Peter Mutharika.

According to Mchacha, Kalindo regrets supporting President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice Dr. Saulos Chilima during the fresh Presidential polls.

He also claimed that some Ministers in Tonse Alliance regrets being behind Chakwera’s regime.

Kalindo, popularly known as Winiko resigned from UTM earlier this year and he has been all over town organizing demonstrations against the rising costs of living the country.

Some of his demonstrations led to his arrest.

Meanwhile, Kalindo is yet to comment on the matter.
