Phalombe Meru Filling Station Boss And Three Others Arrested For Allegedly Found Stealing Diesel

District Police Spokesperson, Jimmy Kapanja has confirmed the arrests of a manager for Phalombe Mount Meru Filling Station and three other accomplices for allegedly found stealing diesel at the fuel pump station.

Kapanja has identified the suspects as Grant Mpichi, 28 (the manager) and three other businessmen; Masautso Kainja, 30, Thoko Samson, 24, Patrick Shoveli, 25.

The three will appear before court soon to answer a theft charge.

Meanwhile, the police have recovered thirty-two jerry cans of 20 litres each and money amounting to over K1.5 million.
