PTC employees in peaceful demonstrations in Lilongwe

Workers of the Peoples Trading Centre (PTC) in the Central Region are holding demonstrations to push the management to pay them their salaries.
The workers have gone two months without pay.
The development comes amid disagreement over a move to sell the firm to Tafika Holdings.
Last week sheriffs impounded PTC properties and ESCOM also disconnected electricity to some shops of the company over failure to pay bills by management.
