Police at Muloza in Mulanje have arrested a 27-year-old man, Zakaliya Njazi, for allegedly trafficking three women.
Mulanje Police deputy public relations officer, Leah Kambalame confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press on Friday.
According to Kambalame, the suspect was intercepted as he was trying to cross over to Mozambique using unchartered routes.
Kambalame said the Njazi promised the said women jobs when they go to Mozambique.
