All Set For High Cost Of Living Demos In Ntcheu

People have started gathering at Ntcheu old bus depot for a demonstration organized by a grouping under the banner ‘Dzuka Ntcheu’.
Organizers are protesting against the high cost of living, continued under development of the district and a reminder to President Lazarus Chakwera’s Tonse led government to honor campaign promises among them the creation of one million jobs.
The protesters are set to deliver a petition at Ntcheu district commissioner’s office.
There is also high police presence at the starting point to provide security.
