An unknown male was discovered dead in a tree in a maize garden in Mponela, Dowa.
The incident happened on July 20, 2022, around 10:00 a.m., in Chikwangula Village, Traditional Authority Chakhaza, Dowa District.
According to Sergeant Macpatson Msadala, Public Relations Officer at Mponela Police Station, Mr. Sandi Natani, 30, of Chikwangula village, went to work in his garden and left around 11:00 a.m.
On his way home, he was surprised to see an unknown male hanging from a tree in a particular garden.
The matter was reported to the Madisi Police Unit.
The scene of the crime was visited by CID personnel and the dead body was taken to Ntchisi District Hospital pending identification and postmortem.
The deceased is brown in complexion, has a medium height, is slim and has a short forefinger on his left hand.
