Reports reaching faceofmalawi indicates that veteran Human Right activists Emmie Chanika has died.
The cause of her death is not known at the moment but Chanika abandoned frontline activisms for some time now.
Chanika died this morning at Kamuzu Central Hospital where she was admitted.
Founder of the Civil Liberties Committee, Chanika was also a trained registered nurse and she began working in 1992 as human rights groups started to form and agitate for political change in Malawi.
