A 39-year-old man identified as Kamidya Joseph Longwe, has died after being hit by a motor vehicle at Mponela Trade Centre in Dowa District last night.
Mponela Police spokesperson MacPatson Msadala, has confirmed of the incident which occured at Kazonga Village around 19:00 hours along the Lilongwe -Kasungu M1 road.
According to Msadala, the Police have since launched a manhunt to arrest the driver of the motor vehicle who is reported to have fled from the scene of the accident.
