Group Village Headman Sosola has been arrested for allegedly forging a signature of Chewa Heritage Foundation (Chefo) chairperson Stanley Khaila.
Lingadzi Police Station spokesperson, Salome Zgambo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Chief Sosola is alleged to have forged Khaila’s signature in a letter addressed to President Lazarus Chakwera.
The Chief was seeking financial support for preparatory activities for this year’s Kulamba Ceremony in Zambia on August 29, 2022.
The suspect will appear in court soon.
