Reyneck Matemba arrested by ACB over corruption scandal

Principal Secretary for Lands, Reyneck Matemba has been summoned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Lilongwe for questioning over his alleged involvement with businessperson Zunneth Sattar.

Matemba, who is immediate past director general for the ACB, is among a list of government officials named to have corruptly benefited from Sattar.

According to information we have sourced, Matemba is currently at Mulanje House (ACB Headquarters) for cautioning and is expected to be taken to court this afternoon for plea taking.

ACB Public Relations offier Eggrita Ndala asked for more to comment on the matter.
