According to the thief, he decided to join in the act of stealing because of money. This made the residents angry and they decided to burn the thief alive.
He begged the residents to forgive him, for he would never steal again. In the video, a flammable substance was poured on the young man and he was kept inside a car tyre, ready to be burned him alive. You could see that the residents beat the young man very well before trying to burn him.
