Kenyan Opposition leader Raila Odinga, who has just lost the presidential elections to William Ruto has rejected the results of Kenya’s presidential election rendering them “null and void”.
Odinga lost the election with a narrow margin as announced by the country’s electoral body. However, in a statement released on his official Facebook page he has dispelled the results and accused the head of the electoral body of a “blatant disregard of the constitution”.
“The figures announced by Mr. Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. In our view, there is neither a legally and validly declared winner nor a President-Elect,” Odinga emphasized.
