Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) on Wednesday invaded Inkosi Ya Makosi Gomani V’s palace in Ntcheu where he donated money amounting to MK10 million towards this year’s Umhlangano Wa Maseko Ngoni annual cultural festival.
The development comes barely days after the Prophet brushed shoulders with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera at Umthetho Cultural Festival at Hora Mountain in Mzimba.
Inkosi Gomani V confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
According to Chief Gomani, Bushiri, who was accompanied by his wife, Prophetess Mary Bushiri, handed over the cheque on behalf of Goshen City at Enkosini, Gomani’s V headquarters.
“We thank the visionaire and team of Goshen City for this wonderful donation,” writes Gomani V.
This year’s event is slated for 1-3 September at Nkolimbo village, Inkosi Kwataine in Ntcheu and has been budgeted for 70 million kwacha.
