President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has left N’Djili International Airport in Kinshasa, DRC for Malawi.

The plane carrying the President and Madam Monica Chakwera left the Airport at 1130 am DRC time which is one hour behind Malawi’s time.It is expected to arrive Kamuzu International Airport, Lilongwe at 14:00hrs.

Dr Chakwera and Madam Chakwera were seen off by DRC Minister of Transport, Cherubin Okende.

During his short visit to DRC, the outgoing Chairman among other engagements held separate bilateral talks with the Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema and Tshilombo on how the regional integration agenda can be advanced and how the countries can collaborate on several avenues including trade.
