Zambian Police Officer After A Truck Run Over Him While On Duty

A Zambian traffic Police officer has died after a truck hit and run over him while on duty around Kamwala area in Lusaka.
According to reports the truck had faulty breaks.
Inspector Moses Lungu who was based at Lusaka Central Police initially stopped one vehicle doing the routine checks.
An oncoming canter with faulty brakes rammed into the car he stopped resulting in him failing to the ground.
The faulty canter then ran over him, killing him on the spot.
Police are yet to comment on the matter.
