Step Father Kills Son In Lilongwe

Police at Lingadzi Police Station in Lilongwe have arrested Magodisi Ngwira 58, for allegedly stabbing to death his 27-year old step-son Sebe Maloyi in Lilongwe’s Mtandire Township.
Lingadzi Police Public Relations Officer Salome Zgambo says on August 20 Ngwira picked up a quarrel with Sebe’s young brother a development which irritated Sebe who confronted the step father and slapped him.
In revenge, the suspect picked a knife which was on the table and stabbed Sebe in the chest. Sebe collapsed instantly and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kamuzu Central Hospital.
Post-mortem conducted at the same hospital indicated that death was due to loss of blood.
