The Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) Jesus Nation Church of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has embarked on a week-long evangelism and charity work.
The evangelism week will be concluded with a special and super service this Sunday in the capital Lilongwe and the service will be graced by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Prophetess Mary Bushiri.
ECG Church Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
“ECG The Jesus Nation Church is this week—starting Monday 22nd August ending 28th August 2022—busy with different outdoor evangelism and humanitarian activities aimed at fulfilling its mission.
“The mission of ECG Church is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world, and provide spiritual, social, educational and psychological needs to the human race,” reads in part the statement.
Added Nyondo: “In this week, ECG members, in all the 72 countries where we operate, engage in several activities such as street parades, charity works, door-to-door evangelism, daily mid-day online prayers, intercessions and musical concerts.
“The activities lead up to a special and super service this Sunday to be led by its leader and founder, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.”
During the evangelism week, the church expects over 20000 to 30000 people to receive Jesus Christ.
