Immigration authorities in Lilongwe have deported a Nigerian national, Kelly Kayode Adedokuni who allegedly wanted to obtain a Malawi national Identity Card at the National Registration Office.
Central Region Immigration spokesperson Pasqually Zulu ha confirmed.
According to Zulu said police arrested Adedokuni on Tuesday and was charged with offence of false declaration for obtaining a Malawi national ID as well attempt to acquire a Malawi passport.
He has been deported through Kamuzu International Airport.
