The Islamic group of Al-Shabaab has written the Kenyan government to consider withdrawing its soldiers from Somalia after 11 year of invasion.

According to Al Kataib, the grouping’s leader, Kenyan military has not achieved any of its initial goals of the invasion.

The statement continued that the Kenyan Defense Force (KDF) is incapable of conducting any effective military operations against the Mujahideen.

This will mean that once the resident elect William Ruto is sworn in as the country’s president has a lot of work to do In as far as the security of the country is concerned.

Al-Shabaab has been a threat to the country’s security since 2011. The group has been of threat especially in Northern Eastern part of the country including Mandera, Wajir among others.
