Paramount Chief Gomani V of the Maseko Ngoni in Ntcheu on Tuesday held an audience with former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
The meeting took place at Mutharika’s house in Nyambadwe Township in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Inside sources have confirmed of the meeting but could not disclose the agenda of the said meeting.
“His Royal Highness Inkosi Gomani V and some of his subjects paid a visit to former president Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika at his Nyambadwe Residence,” said the source.
The meeting comes ahead of the Umhlangano Wa Maseko Ngoni which is slated for September 2 and 2 , 2022.
