The South African police deserve all the accolades we can give to them considering the number of high profile operations they have been embarking on recently. This is why we have relative improvement in the security of lives and properties unlike what was obtainable before now.
On the other hand, it is very pertinent to understand that criminal networks operating within the shores of South Africa has become so sophisticated and crafty in carrying out their activities and this is evident in a recent incident handled by the operatives of South Africa Police Service.
Just last week, a team of police officers were dispatched to a farm situated in Eendracht, Stockpoort after receiving an intelligent tip off from the general public about the suspicious activities going on inside the farm.
On arrival, police officers conducted a thorough search within the area, they uncovered and retrieved a stolen vehicle which was buried underground alongside two shotguns.
The officers also succeeded in arresting a 46 years old white man known as Johannes Jurgens Lamprecht who confessed that the vehicle was buried there since 2021.
The officers are still conducting investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the strange incident.
This was contained in a statement released by Beast of News on Twitter;
“Stolen in 2021 and on 19 August 2022 South Africa Police Service tracked and retrieved a vehicle alongside two shotguns buried at a farm in Eendracht, Stockpoort. A 46 year old man, Johannes Jurgens Lamprecht had been arrested”.
