One person has died while two others have been seriously injured after a vehicle they were travelling was involved in a road accident at Mphora Hills in Rumphi last night.
Police have identified the deceased as Bernadeta Simwaba 38, who died due to severe head injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Hewe Health Centre.
Rumphi Police spokesperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo said the accident involved a Tata pick-up, which was being driven by Zeru Chawinga and was coming from the direction of Bolero heading to Hewe with 14 passengers on board.
