KENYA – The Supreme court has stated what awaits president-elect William Ruto after a court hearing at the Supreme Court.

This has raised questions on the possibility of Raila Odinga being declared the winner by the Supreme Court in case vote tallying shows he won.

The supreme court of the disagreement has henceforth ordered that the recounting should limit themselves to 32A and 34A’s book two from 41 stations hence that the only way the recounting can have a meaning or if they do not stick to their pleadings, a new case might arise causing more crisis.

The counting of other polling stations within the Mvita constituency is currently underway as the Supreme court maintains the 48 hours timeline.

Today, the Supreme Court of Kenya is working on the affidavit submitted by Azimio La Umoja on Monday 22nd August 2022. The Supreme Court Judges are expected to make their decision before September 5th 2022. The Azimio La Umoja is alleging that president-elect William Samoei Ruto and IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati manipulated the presidential votes.
