Chakwera promotes Chief Chimombo to Senior Chief

President Lazarus Chakwera has elevated Traditional Authority Chimombo to Senior Chief.
Both Nsanje District Commissioner Dr. Medson Matchaya and Senior Chief Chimombo have confirmed the development.
Dr. Matchaya has meanwhile said arrangements for a ceremony will be announced in due course.
Speaking in an interview, Chimombo thanked the president for recognizing his chieftancy which is second in line from Senior Chief Tengani in the district.
