Students at Nalikule Teachers College in Lilongwe are boycotting classes in a bid to force the college’s management to release results of supplementary examinations which were sat last month.

Vice President for Nalikule Teachers College Students Union Rabson Kampira has confirmed of the strike in an interview with the press.

According to Kampira, the students that sat for the exam are now going into the seventh week of studies of the next year without being sure of whether they will be told to proceed or repeat.

Kampira also said the delay has also affected final year students who are yet to receive their end of year results.

Nalikule Teachers College Principal Davies Khasu has declined to comment on the matter.
