Ex-MANEB Boss Gerald Chiunda Found with No Case In Exams Leakage

Chief Resident Magistrate for the Eastern Region Austin Banda has found Gerald Chiunda, Former Executive Director for the Malawi National Examination Board with no case to answer in the 2020 Malawi School Certificate of Education examinations leakage case.
Chiunda’s lawyer Chancy Gondwe has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
The development means Chiunda will be acquitted from the case.
The Tonse Alliance government of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera fired Chiunda over the exams leakage in 2020 and he was replaced with Mrs Nampota.
He was later arrested over the leakage.
