Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that the planned demonstrations to force President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice Dr. Saulos Chilima to resign from have been cancelled.
One of the organisers of Levi Luwemba, has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.
Luwemba cited logistical challenges.
Earlier this week, the Lilongwe District Commissioner Dr. Lawford Palani blocked the demonstrations on grounds that the law enforcers will be busy manning filling stations.
The move forced the organizer to seek court intervention and the court cleared the organizer to go ahead with the said demonstrations.
