Information reaching us indicates that a man identified as Daniel Mshali suspected to have stabbed three people and killing one in the process at Mantchewe area in the area of Traditional Authority Kachulu in Rumphi, has been found dead.
Rumphi police spokesperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo says his body was found hanging in a tree within the area by communities last night, who later informed the police.
Police visited the scene together with medical personnel who conducted postmortem which revealed that death was due to suffocation and strangulation.
Mshali was being accused of stabbing to death Malani Mwabanga and assaulting Glory Mwabanga and Lusungu Mshali over family matters.
