Presidential Advisor on Chiefs Moses Kunkuyu has arrived home after undergoing a successful operation at a hospital in London.
It is reported that Kunkuyu was poisoned by unknown people within the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) family and he has been outside the country for two months.
Kunkuyu was spotted disembarking from an airplane at Chileka International Airport in the commercial capital Blantyre this afternoon.
He was welcomed at the airport by his relatives.
In August this year, rumous flooded social media claiming that Kunkuyu is dead.
But brother to Kunkuyu, Daniel trashed the rumours describing it as fake.
“The social media reports are not true. But I can confirm that a surgery took place but he is doing good. The poison theory remains a suspicion,” said Daniel Kunkuyu.
Meanwhile, Kunkuyu is yet to comment on the matter.
