The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has opened an inquiry through the Zambia Police and FIFA over the social media driven s*x scandal involving the women national teams.
According to a report published by ZNBC, FAZ president Andrew Kamanga says although the association has not received any official complaint from anyone over the alleged s*x scandal, an inquiry has been opened encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
Featuring on Super Sport’s popular Soccer Africa programme in South Africa, Kamanga said those that were not comfortable bringing evidence to FAZ can either utilize the Zambia Police route or the FIFA independent inquiry.
Kamanga said FIFA has a wing that can independently dig into the s*x allegations within the Zambian game.
Kamanga said the police have been engaged on the premise that some of the matters being raised border on criminality which was a preserve of law enforcement agencies.
