AMG Global has donated money amounting to MK3, 150,000 towards this year’s Insurance Institute of Malawi-IIM’s three day Lake Shore Conference.
The conference will run from October20 to October 22 2022 and will be held at Nkopola Lodge in the eastern district of Mangochi.
IIM President Hastings Kapesa who is also Reunion Insurance Company Limited Technical Manager responsible for Business Development and Claims received the donation this morning at the company’s headquarters in Blantyre.
Speaking after receiving the donation Kapesa hailed AMG Global for the donation.
“As Insurance Institute Malawi we are very excited, delighted and grateful to AMM Global for the timely donation that they have made today. This donation is worth MK3, 150,000. The money will help us organize a very successful event in Mangochi.
“This conference is very powerful and AMG Global coming in as our partner and help us organize a successful event is something commendable and we are parting them on the back,” said Kapesa.
He also urged other well-wishers to come in and support IIM.
On her part, AMG Global Business and Development Officer Berita Kajamu said the company values the role being played by the Institute hence the donation.
This year’s conference is under the theme: “A Glance at Insurance in Malawi for the Next Decade”.
