Comedian cum politician Bon Kalindo as endorsed mass demonstrations against President Lazarus Chakwera organized by social media commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele.
Over the weekend Chisa Mbele announced that he will be announcing dates for demonstrations across the country to express their anger towards the continued corruption and economic hardships rocking the country.
According to Chisa Mbele, under Chakwera’s watch, corruption has worsen and people are hardly breathing hence a move to pay him a visit and to remind him why he is the country’ head of state.
A number of nongovernmental organizations have geared up their support in Chisa Mbele’s demos so is the former United Transformation Movement (UTM) member Kalindo
In a video shared by Chisa Mbele on his Facebook page, Kalindo said that time has come for a true Malawian to rise and fight for their country.
According to Kalindo, it is sad that when they were fighting for change of government, they did not know that they were inviting more problems. But now is the time to correct the wrongs.
Early this year, Kalindo took to the streets and demonstrated against Chakwera government soon after he left the UTM, but later was given a diplomat position in Brazil
