Herbalist slapped with 10 years jail sentence for defiling 15 year old girl

The First Grade Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ntchisi District has sentenced witch-doctor, Samson Chimbaka 26, to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling a 15-year-old girl.
According to Sub inspector Patrick Phambana of Ntchisi Police Station said the witch-doctor grabbed the girl and masked her face with a cloth when she was coming back from a friend preventing her to shout.
The witch-doctor later dragged the girl into banana garden where he defiled her.
First Grade Magistrate Dorothy Kalua said the sentence should serve as a warning to others who are silently doing the same.
Chimbaka comes from Njoli Village, Traditional Authority Kalumo in Ntchisi District.
