CSOs pull out of Friday anti-Chakwera demonstrations

The Civil Society for Unity of Purpose has denounced its participation in the anti-government demonstrations slated for this Friday 28 October in Lilongwe.
A spokesperson for the CSO, Agape Khombe, told reporters in Lilongwe that the grouping feels the demos are being championed by people with ill motives that are also promoting the ideologies of certain individuals who recently endorsed the demonstrations.
The CSO has also bashed organisers of the demonstration as time wasters and lacking direction.
