Social media commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele has described minister of information who is also government’s spokesperson Gospel Kazako as a “serial liar” in reference to a talk show the two had at one of the country’s media house yesterday.
During the programme, Kazako repeatedly said that the anti-government demonstrations received a funding amounting to K60 million from other interested parties to downgrade the Chakwera led administrations.
Yesterday, a grouping calling itself Civil Society for Unity of Purpose withdrew their endorsement of today’s anti-government demonstrations in Lilongwe over an excuse that the demonstrations are being championed by people with ill motives that are also promoting the ideologies of certain individuals who recently endorsed the demonstrations.
Without saying directly who sponsored the anti-government demonstrations, spokesperson of the grouping Agape Khombe, bashed organisers of the demonstration as time wasters and lacking direction.
However, Chisa Mbele described the claim as untrue. According to Chisa Mbele, people who started the claim are “desperate, uneducated, unskilled, unemployed, unemployable hopeless souls” who staged their press conference to speak ill of the demonstrations.
According to Chisa Mbele, it is now sad that the whole minister is buying such lies. Adding to that, Chisa Mbele said Kazako exposed himself to be behind the people calling themselves CSO’s to downgrade the anti-government demonstrations.
“It was very unfortunate that the whole Hon Minister took to the national broadcasting platform and quoted such a faceless, blatant and unfounded lie. The so called Hon Minister badly exposed himself to be more than manipulative, pathological & serial liar. Your utterances confirmed people’s suspicion that the ministry was actually behind those hopeless souls” said Chisa Mbele.
He then called on Kazako to lie with “dignity like one Minister of Information Paul Joseph Goebbels of Nazi German during the Second World War.”
