There is pressure at Lilongwe district council as demonstrators are insisting on heading to presidential resident, Kamuzu Palace to deliver their petition.
Lead organizer of the demonstrations Joshua Chisa Mbele has told the District Commissioner that they will not be giving them their petition.
He then asked the DC to join them on their way to Kamuzu Palace where the petition will be delivered.
Meanwhile, the demonstrators have left Lilongwe district council and are heading to Kamuzu Palace to deliver their petition.
Police are providing security.
