Joshua Chisa Mbele, others arrive at court for bail hearing

Social media activist Joshua Chisa Mbele and his counterparts have arrived at Resident Magistrate Court for bail hearing.
Chisa Mbele was arrested on Friday in relation to violence that erupted during the anti-government protests he organized.
While in police custody, Chisa Mbele alleged that he was physically assaulted by the police and had his phone smashed.
However police have refuted the allegations.
Meanwhile, the Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC) has instituted investigations on Chisa Mbele’s physical assault.
