Immigration Repatriates 344 Ethiopians

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services with support from International Organisation for Migration is repatriating 344 Ethiopians this week who were being held in Malawi prisons.
The department’s spokesperson Pasqually Zulu says the exercise, which will be done in two phases, will decogest prisons in the country.
A total of 156 Ethiopians will be repatriated today using a chartered plane.
