Co-chairperson of the joint Parliamentary committee Sameer has recused himself from co-chairing the committee after he was named the conflicted person.
Today, agriculture former minister Lobin Lowe is appearing before the joint committee which is investigating the missing funds for the Affordable Input Programme.
Before the interrogation started, the former minister asked Suleman to recuse himself from the committee citing that he feels that Suleman is conflicted.
According to Lowe, Suleman was part of the fact finding team on some fertilizer deals hence him being conflicted.
This led to a brief suspension of the meeting and upon return, Suleman accepted to recuse himself.
Suleman has since recused himself from the hearing.
